Opening talk with Hans van der Meer
The exhibition will be opened by Hans van der Meer (Leimuiden, 1966). Van der Meer is well-known for his projects European Fields and ‘Hollandse Velden’ (Dutch Fields). Van der meer is one of the four photographers guiding the process of the exhibited projects.

Eline Hofstra is a third year bachelor student at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. Here she studies classical guitar. Eline is inspired by, among others: Manuel Maria Ponce, Agustin Barrios and Francisco Tárrega

Speaker: Frits Gierstberg / Why photography?
On thursday, January 19 Gierstberg Frits (1959) will talk about the role of photography in a time when new media, social changes and technological innovations change the world. Frits Gierstberg is working since 2003 as head of exhibitions at the Dutch Photography Museum. He has organized many international exhibitions, symposiums, lectures and discussions about photography in the last few years. From January 2006 he also worked as a professor of Photography at the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
